I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and a minor in International Relations. My interest in journalism started in 2019 when I was 16 and started a blog about the LA Galaxy called “Gen Z for the Galaxy.” I wrote pieces on matches, but the blog’s emphasis was on interviewing those who supported the club. I continued that blog until my freshman year of college when I began getting a proper education in my dream field. I tried other forms of journalism such as arts or politics, but my love was always with soccer.

I believe that sports are a reflection people. Arts and politics are too, but I do not feel the connection in the same way. At 16 years old I joined the Angel City Brigade, the largest supporters’ group of the LA Galaxy. I have been part of it ever since and even chose to go to college in Los Angeles to strengthen my relationship with the group. I have made supporting sports my life and want my journalism to reflect that.

My first substantial journalism position was writing for the NY Soccer Times where I acted as a Californian beat reporter. I used that position to speak to supporters and staff of lower league Californian clubs. The weight of these stories was not from the clubs, it was from the people and locations.

I now work for Coachella SC and their affiliated TV channel, PSA TV, where I showcase the people and culture of the Coachella Valley. I commentate for the club as well, but the club is its supporters and its region.
